PART 1 — Job Description
About the role
This is a founding, full-cycle sales hire - a hunter, not a manager of hunters (yet). You will personally source, qualify, run proofs-of-concept, and close Predusk AI's first wave of enterprise customers across India and the US/EU. You report directly to leadership, own the number, and help define the playbook that future reps will run.
You are selling domain-adapted, on-premises AI - not chatbot wrappers. Our products run on the DATP platform: LabelFort (data annotation, priced well below Scale AI / iMerit),. We are ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and India DPDP compliant, and members of FICCI, NASSCOM, and DSCI.
What you'll own
- Land the first paying customers. Full ownership of the funnel: outbound, inbound follow-up, RFP/tender responses, PoC, pilot, and close.
- Build pipeline from a cold start. We do not yet have a warm enterprise network - you create access via cold outreach with a credible angle, partnerships, and empanelment routes.
- Run technical, compliance-heavy sales cycles. Buyers in healthcare, finance, public sector, and AI/ML teams will test you on security, data residency, and proof. You orchestrate evidence-based PoCs and procurement-safe pilots.
- Sell across two motions: product-led (LabelFort price wedge) and consultative/solutions-led (on-prem domain AI). Know when to use which.
- Bring market intelligence back in. Competitive pricing, positioning gaps, and product asks flow from you to product and leadership.
- Maintain pipeline discipline. A capped, well-qualified pipeline with honest stage tracking - not a vanity list of 200 logos.
Who you are (must-haves)
- Closed enterprise B2B deals end-to-end (you've personally owned a number, not just supported a team).
- Domain fluency in AI / data labeling / ML data ops - you can hold a credible technical conversation with an ML lead without a sales engineer in the room.
- Comfortable selling into compliance-sensitive enterprises (healthcare, BFSI, public sector) and navigating security/procurement.
- Experience selling into both India and US/EU buyers, or a clear, credible plan for how you'd cover both.
- Genuinely a hunter - you are energized by an empty pipeline and a cold start, not dependent on inbound or an existing book.
Nice to have
- Sold into government / PSU via RFPs, tenders, or empanelment.
- Prior early-stage / founding-sales experience (0→1 GTM).
- Existing relationships in target verticals or with GCC / enterprise AI buyers.
Success in the first 90 days
- A qualified, prioritized target list with a realistic entry path for each account.
- A working outbound + PoC motion producing live opportunities.
- At least one signed pilot or first paying customer in flight.
Compensation & logistics (to confirm)
- Structure: Industry standard.
- Location: India - remote
- Travel: expected for enterprise and conference / RFP engagements.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
