Position - B.Sc. Chemist (QC Lab)
Industry: Pulp & Paper Manufacturing
Qualification: B.Sc./M.sc Chemistry
0–5 years of experience in Paper/Pulp Industry (Freshers may be considered for trainee roles)
Key Responsibilities
Conduct laboratory testing of pulp, paper, raw materials, and finished products as per quality standards.
Perform paper quality tests such as GSM, Burst, RCT, ECT, Cobb, Moisture, Thickness, Brightness, and pH.
Carry out DM water and process water testing (pH, Conductivity, Hardness, TDS, etc.).
Collect and test samples of raw materials, chemicals, pulp, water, and finished products.
Monitor process quality and coordinate with Production for corrective actions.
Investigate customer complaints, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions (CAPA).
Maintain laboratory records, test reports, and calibration records.
Ensure calibration and proper maintenance of laboratory instruments.
Follow laboratory safety practices and comply with ISO/Quality standards.
