Primary Social Science Teacher – CBSE School
A reputed CBSE school in Hadapsar, Pune is looking for an experienced and passionate Primary Social Science Teacher to join its academic team.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of History and Social Science concepts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences for students up to Grade 8.
Location: Hadapsar, Pune
Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Social Science and History lessons for students up to Grade 8.
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans, activities, worksheets, and assessments.
- Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and active participation among students.
- Monitor student progress and provide appropriate academic support.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities and academic initiatives.
- Use technology and digital resources effectively to enhance classroom learning.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with D.Ed./D.El.Ed. or B.El.Ed.
- 2–3 years of teaching experience in History/Social Science for classes up to Grade 8.
- TET/CTET qualification preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and strong proficiency in English.
- Computer proficiency is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a CBSE school is preferred.
- Passion for teaching and working with young learners.
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
