1. Student Assessment and Identification
- Screen and assess students with learning difficulties, developmental delays, or disabilities.
- Conduct educational assessments to identify individual learning needs.
- Maintain confidential records of assessments and student progress.
- Participate in referral and evaluation processes.
2. Individualized Education Planning (IEP)
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on each student's needs.
- Set measurable academic, behavioral, and developmental goals.
- Review and update IEPs periodically in collaboration with parents and teachers.
3. Individual and Group Instruction
- Provide individualized and small-group remedial instruction.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Support students in developing literacy, numeracy, communication, social, and life skills.
- Use multisensory teaching methods and assistive technologies where appropriate.
4. Classroom Support
- Work alongside classroom teachers to implement inclusive teaching practices.
- Modify lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
- Recommend classroom accommodations and curriculum adaptations.
- Support students during classroom activities, examinations, and school events.
5. Collaboration with Teachers
- Guide teachers in understanding different learning disabilities and developmental conditions.
- Suggest effective classroom management techniques and differentiated instruction strategies.
- Participate in staff meetings and academic planning sessions.
6. Parent Counseling and Support
- Conduct regular meetings with parents to discuss student progress.
- Educate families about learning disabilities, intervention strategies, and home support techniques.
- Provide guidance on behavior management and skill development at home.
7. Progress Monitoring
- Monitor student performance against IEP goals.
- Maintain detailed progress reports and documentation.
- Modify intervention plans based on student outcomes.
- Prepare reports for school management and parents.
8. Behavioral and Social Development
- Support students in developing emotional regulation and positive behavior.
- Teach social interaction, communication, and self-advocacy skills.
- Implement behavior intervention strategies when required.
9. Coordination with Professionals
- Collaborate with psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and counselors.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings for comprehensive student support.
- Facilitate referrals to external specialists when necessary.
10. Inclusive Education Initiatives
- Promote an inclusive school culture.
- Conduct awareness sessions for staff and students on inclusion and disability sensitivity.
- Support the implementation of inclusive education policies and practices.
Documentation Responsibilities
- Maintain Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Prepare assessment reports.
- Maintain intervention records.
- Keep attendance and session logs.
- Document parent meeting records.
- Submit periodic progress reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- RCI certified
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and other developmental conditions.

Reporting Structure
- Reports To: Principal / Head of School / Inclusive Education Coordinator

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
