Position: Senior Electrician – DRI Projects
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Senior Electrician – DRI Projects to lead greenfield electrical execution, power setup, and installation activities. This role focuses on site power supply setup, panel wiring, HT/LT switchgear handling, and commission support tailored to Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) plant operations.
Required Skills & Technical Qualifications
Education: ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 5+ years of total experience, with at least 2–3 years dedicated to DRI (Sponge Iron) projects. Must have hands-on exposure to greenfield project setups.
Core Technical Competencies:
Ensure all electrical installation works conform to the operational demands of DRI process equipment (kiln, coolers, material handling, ESPs)
Execute cable laying, panel positioning, feeder arrangements, and equipment installation for greenfield DRI project execution.
Proficiency with HT VCBs, LT ACBs, PCC/MCC panels, and distribution transformers.
Deep understanding of internal panel wiring schemes, interlocks, and feeder arrangement layouts.
Hands-on ability to read Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and assemble accurate engineering BOMs.
Strong expertise in site power evacuation systems and temporary infrastructure setup.
Solid grasp of DRI plant layout, safety clearances, and process flow.
Strong on-site leadership to supervise contractor labor and junior electricians.
Deep knowledge of electrical safety rules, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and statutory compliance.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
