Electrician cum Plumber
Job Summary:
Experienced technician responsible for electrical and plumbing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure smooth facility operations. The role requires working in rotational shifts and handling breakdowns independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Work:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, panels, wiring, and equipment
- Diagnose faults in motors, pumps, lighting, and control systems
- Perform preventive maintenance of electrical installations
- Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards
Plumbing Work:
- Maintain water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems
- Repair leaks, blockages, valves, pumps, and pipelines
- Carry out installation of plumbing fixtures and fittings
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
General Maintenance:
- Attend breakdowns and complete repairs within SLA timelines
- Maintain daily logs and report major issues
- Coordinate with maintenance team and supervisors
- Ensure workplace safety and compliance
Shift Requirements:
- Willing to work in rotational shifts (day/night)
- Ready for emergency/on-call duties
Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Plumbing or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in maintenance (industrial/commercial/residential)
- Strong working knowledge of both electrical and plumbing systems
Skills Required:
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding ability
- Knowledge of safety practices and compliance standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical fitness and multitasking skills
Preferred:
- Experience in facilities like factories, hospitals, malls, or large residential complexes
- Basic knowledge of pumps, motors, and utility systems
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
