Job Summary:
We are seeking a Sales Manager – Air Freight with specialized experience in both import and export trade lanes. The ideal candidate will be a hunter responsible for the end-to-end commercial lifecycle, from identifying and securing new global air cargo clients to executing high-stakes freight rate and contract negotiations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- New Business Acquisition (Hunting): Actively prospect, pitch, and secure new B2B accounts, manufacturers, and wholesalers requiring international air freight services for both imports and exports.
- Air Trade Lane Development: Identify and capitalize on high-yield air trade lanes, focusing on time-sensitive or high-value verticals.
- Freight Pricing & Spot Quoting: Generate rapid, accurate air freight quotes by analyzing chargeable weight
- Consultative Account Management: Audit prospective client supply chains to offer optimized air logistics solutions, advising on hybrid transit options (e.g., Sea-Air) or express versus deferred air services.
- RFP & Contract Management: Lead commercial bidding and respond to RFQs/RFPs for major commercial air cargo contracts, ensuring competitive pricing that protects gross profit margins.
Experience Requirement: 8-10-year experience in Air freight specialized in both import and export.
Education qualification: Any degree
