This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in the NBFC or chit fund industry who have a strong track record in business expansion, client acquisition, and market development.
Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving branch growth by identifying new business prospects, strengthening customer engagement, and enhancing the branch’s presence within the local market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and capitalize on business opportunities to increase enrollments and support branch growth.
- Execute field marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and community outreach activities to improve market visibility.
- Educate prospective customers on chit fund offerings and guide them through the enrollment process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage retention and referrals.
- Support collection performance by coordinating with customers and ensuring regular account servicing.
- Analyze business trends, customer feedback, and branch performance metrics to recommend improvement strategies.
- Collaborate with branch teams to achieve business goals and maintain service excellence.
- Monitor competitor activities and local market developments to identify growth opportunities.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in NBFCs, chit funds, financial services, or a related industry.
- Proven experience in business development, sales management, and customer portfolio growth.
- Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and achieve performance targets.
- Familiarity with the local market and customer demographics will be an added advantage.
