POSITION 1: SENIOR PURCHASE & LOGISTICS MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Senior Purchase & Logistics Manager to manage procurement, vendor negotiations, contracts and logistics for Solar EPC, Rooftop, Open Access and BESS projects.
The role will involve sourcing electrical and BOS equipment, negotiating with vendors, coordinating material deliveries and ensuring timely availability of materials at project sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source and procure solar modules, inverters, structures, cables, transformers, BESS containers and BOS materials.
- Read and interpret Electrical SLDs and validate DC and AC side BOMs.
- Coordinate with the engineering team for BOQ/MRP requirements.
- Identify, evaluate and negotiate with vendors, manufacturers and distributors.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms including LC, advance and credit terms.
- Visit vendor/manufacturer/distributor locations for stock and quality assessment.
- Conduct project site visits for material verification.
- Draft and review purchase contracts, including warranty, penalty and LD clauses.
- Manage import-export logistics, freight and customs clearance.
- Track ALMM and BIS compliance for applicable materials.
- Coordinate timely dispatch and delivery of materials to project sites.
- Maintain purchase and logistics records through ERP/Excel systems.
REQUIREMENTS
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- 2–3 years of experience in Solar EPC / Rooftop / Open Access / BESS procurement and logistics.
- Strong understanding of DC & AC side BOMs and electrical equipment.
- Hands-on knowledge of vendor negotiation and procurement processes.
- Basic understanding of contracts, LC and BG; hands-on exposure preferred.
- Good knowledge of logistics, freight and customs processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems; SAP/Oracle knowledge preferred.
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites, vendors and distributors.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
