Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Taloja
Experience Required: 1–4 Years in Chemical, Plasticizer, Plastics, Petrochemical, Polymer, or Manufacturing industries.
Salary: Up to ₹3.8 LPA (With Benefits)
Qualification Criteria : B.E. Mechanical Engineering or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PMS) and breakdown maintenance of critical rotating equipment.
- Maintain pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, reactors, agitators, and associated mechanical systems to ensure uninterrupted production.
Equipment Reliability
- Improve equipment reliability through condition monitoring techniques such as vibration analysis and thermography.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures to minimize production downtime.
Process Optimization
- Monitor and maintain plasticizer production machinery including reactors, distillation columns, agitators, and heat exchangers.
- Ensure efficient operation of plastic processing equipment such as extruders, blenders, chillers, and pneumatic conveying systems.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all EHS policies and statutory safety regulations.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following best practices, including Operation Clean Sweep for pellet loss prevention.
Spare Parts Management
- Identify critical spare parts and maintain adequate inventory.
- Coordinate procurement of mechanical components to ensure equipment availability and reduce downtime.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain maintenance logs, equipment history records, and service reports.
- Update maintenance activities in SAP/CMMS systems accurately.
Project Support
- Assist in installation, commissioning, testing, and validation of new equipment and plant upgrades.
- Support continuous improvement and reliability enhancement initiatives.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹380,000.00 per year
