- Prepare, and deliver Computer Science / IT lessons as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Teach topics such as computer fundamentals, MS Office, internet applications, coding/programming basics, cyber safety, digital literacy, and other age-appropriate computer concepts.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and learning resources.
- Conduct practical sessions in the computer lab and ensure hands-on learning for students.
- Assess, record, and report students’ academic performance through tests, projects, assignments, and practical evaluations.
- Provide remedial support and enrichment activities based on student learning needs.
- Integrate technology effectively into classroom teaching and learning.
Classroom & Student Management
- Maintain discipline and ensure a positive learning environment in the classroom and computer lab.
- Encourage creativity, problem-solving, logical thinking, and safe digital practices among students.
- Monitor student participation, behavior, and progress regularly.
- Support students in school projects, exhibitions, competitions, and presentations related to technology/computers.
Lab Management
- Supervise the computer lab during practical sessions.
- Ensure proper use and care of computers, software, and related equipment.
- Coordinate with the IT/admin team regarding lab maintenance, software updates, and technical requirements.
- Maintain records of lab usage, student practical work, and equipment issues if required.
Assessment & Documentation
- Prepare question papers, answer keys, report remarks, and assessment records as per school and CBSE guidelines.
- Maintain attendance, academic records, lesson plans, and progress reports.
- Participate in result analysis and academic review meetings.
School Responsibilities
- Attend staff meetings, PTMs, workshops, training sessions, and school events.
- Work collaboratively with coordinators, teachers, and school leadership for academic planning and student development.
- Participate in curriculum planning, annual planning, and co-curricular activities assigned by the school.
- Follow all school policies, child safety norms, and professional standards.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications or relevant field.
- B.Ed. is mandatory/preferred as per school policy.
- Prior teaching experience in a CBSE school is preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science / IT concepts and school-level curriculum.
- Good command over MS Office, internet tools, and basic programming concepts.
- Effective classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to teach concepts in a simple, student-friendly manner.
- Good planning, documentation, and assessment skills.
- Basic troubleshooting / computer lab handling skills preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience in a CBSE / reputed school preferred.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
