Role Summary
MS Clinical Research (MSCR) is looking for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Assistant to Director – Business Operations to support the Director in managing day-to-day operational, administrative, coordination, and strategic activities. The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and follow-up skills to ensure smooth execution of business operations across departments.
The ideal candidate should be capable of handling confidential information, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, preparing reports and presentations, managing schedules, and supporting operational projects in a fast-paced clinical research environment.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Support

Provide end-to-end administrative support to the Director – Business Operations.

Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, travel schedules, and business correspondence.

Prepare meeting agendas, MOMs (Minutes of Meeting), presentations, and follow-up trackers.

Coordinate internal and external meetings with stakeholders, clients, vendors, and teams.

Handle confidential documents and sensitive information professionally.
Business Operations Coordination

Track ongoing projects, tasks, and timelines to ensure timely completion.

Coordinate with Clinical Operations, Medical, and other teams for operational requirements.

Maintain operational dashboards, reports, trackers, and documentation.

Assist in process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
Communication & Follow-Ups

Act as a coordination point between the Director and internal/external stakeholders.

Ensure timely follow-ups on action items, approvals, and pending tasks.

Draft professional emails, business communication, and reports.
-
Support vendor coordination and client communication when required.
Reporting & Documentation

Prepare MIS reports, presentations, summaries, and analytical reports.

Maintain organized records of operational documents and business data.

Support in policy documentation, SOP coordination, and operational documentation.
Event & Meeting Coordination

Coordinate leadership meetings, business reviews, employee engagement activities, and operational events.

Assist in organizing conferences, workshops, and client visits.

Educational Qualification

Experience Required

1–2 years of experience in executive assistance, business operations coordination, administration, or project coordination roles.

Experience in healthcare, clinical research, pharmaceutical, or service industries will be an advantage.
