About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and organized Admission Counsellor to join our pre-school team. The candidate will be responsible for managing admissions, guiding parents through the enrollment process, and building strong relationships with prospective families. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a pleasing personality, and a passion for early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle enquiries from parents regarding admissions, curriculum, and school facilities.
- Conduct school tours and explain the pre-school programs to prospective parents.
- Counsel parents and guide them through the admission process.
- Maintain admission records, student databases, and follow-up communications.
- Coordinate admission interviews, assessments, and documentation.
- Achieve admission targets and support student enrollment growth.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and guardians.
- Manage phone calls, emails, walk-ins, and online admission enquiries professionally.
- Support marketing and promotional activities conducted by the school.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative teams for smooth onboarding of new students.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in admissions, counseling, customer relations, or front office roles (experience in schools/pre-schools preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and convincing abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
- Good organizational and follow-up skills.
- Pleasant personality with a child-friendly and parent-friendly approach.
