Job Description
We are looking for a Compliance Manager to oversee social compliance, statutory compliance, health & safety, and audit management activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and coordinate Social Compliance Audits such as SA8000, SEDEX/SMETA, HIGG FEM, FFC, RESA, LABS, and Buyer Audits.
- Ensure compliance with Labour Laws, Factory Act, EPF, ESIC, Factory License, Trade License, and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain audit-related documentation, records, policies, and compliance reports.
- Implement and monitor management systems including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure closure of audit observations through CAPA.
- Coordinate worker welfare programs, employee grievance handling, and industrial relations activities.
- Organize and conduct training programs on Health & Safety, Fire Safety, First Aid, Ergonomics, and statutory compliance.
- Monitor workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Maintain employee attendance systems, compliance records, and related documentation.
- Liaise with auditors, certification bodies, government authorities, and buyers during audits and inspections.
- Prepare MIS reports and support management in compliance-related decision-making.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Compliance.
- Knowledge of SA8000, SEDEX/SMETA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and statutory compliance.
- Understanding of Labour Laws, EPF, ESIC, Factory Compliance, and Audit Management.
- Good communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
