Responsibility
To approve safety Plan.
To implement Safety practices with the assistance of safety officer.
To implement the safety at sites and carry out safety audits from time to time.
Overall responsibility for technical and administration matters relating to site.
To implement Quality Management System at site.
Establishment of site office.
Allocate areas for contractors after interacting with clients.
Micro planning of construction activities at site with contractors.
Prepare Concession Request Form No. C 020011 R4 for deviation in specifications and site works and obtain approval from HOD (Construction).
Conduct progress review meetings with contractors along with clients.
Prepare action/recovery plan to meet the targets.
Circulate IS standards issued to sites as guidance and reading material only amongst all site engineers. Specific edition of IS standard, if required, shall be requested for by Site Manager/Site In charge.
Review erection schemes submitted by contractors for equipments along with mechanical engineer.
Authorization of contractor’s bills certified by concerned discipline engineer.
Oversee management of stores.
Interact with client’s representative at site.
Verify weekly progress reports.
Interact with Project Manager (internal) and resolve issues related to drawings, material receipt and other technical issues.
Interact with H.O. Construction for any construction problem with respect to manpower, progress, quality, safety or technical issue.
Interact with HOD (Construction) for site cash, administration issues and site facility requirements.
Review, recommend and forward extra claims to HO Construction. HO shall approve and forward it to the Project manager for onward transmission to client.
Internal Review meeting with staff (daily/Weekly).

To prepare “Site Feed-Back” and furnish the same as per the format provided.
Provide as-built documents for all engineering disciplines to projects.
Handing over the Final Bills, Material Reconciliation and other site documents to client.
Site Closure Report (duly compiled with all other closure reports of the site engineers and staffs).
