We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer with high ownership to design, architect, and deliver performant web applications. In this role, you will lead complex frontend initiatives, establish architectural best practices, and work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend teams. You should have a deep command of modern JavaScript runtimes, type systems, and component architectures, paired with strong analytical problem-solving skills to build reliable, responsive digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and maintain high-performance, responsive web applications using React.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Take end-to-end ownership of frontend modules, covering technical design, implementation, testing, telemetry, deployment, and post-release monitoring.
- Translate complex product requirements and high-fidelity UX designs into scalable, reusable component hierarchies and design system standards.
- Optimize client-side performance across critical rendering paths, runtime profiling, bundle size minimization, and state synchronization.
- Champion clean code practices, conduct thorough peer code reviews, enforce testing standards, and mentor mid-level/junior engineers.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define efficient API contracts (REST / gRPC / WebSockets) and ensure seamless client-server integration.
- Integrate AI-assisted developer tooling (e.g., LLM-based refactoring/review workflows) into your daily engineering routine to accelerate feature delivery, test automation and code quality.
What You Bring:
- 4 - 6 years of solid professional experience building complex, client-facing web applications.
- Core Technologies: Extensive production experience with React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+), including deep expertise in lifecycle mechanics, custom hooks, and concurrent rendering patterns.
- Technical Problem Solving: Strong technical grasp of data structures, client-side caching strategies, state management architectures (e.g., Zustand, Redux Toolkit, React Query), and asynchronous request lifecycles.
- Engineering Rigor: Proven track record in automated unit/integration testing (Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright) and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- AI-First Mindset: Practical experience leveraging AI developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude/ChatGPT) thoughtfully to draft boilerplate, explore architectural trade-offs, and generate comprehensive test suites while maintaining strict verification standards for security, performance, and correctness.
- Communication & Delivery: Clear verbal and written communication with demonstrated ability to break down ambiguous technical requirements and deliver solutions incrementally.
Good to Have:
- Hands-on exposure to or willingness to learn Go (Golang) for backend-for-frontend (BFF) layers or microservice integrations.
- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) frameworks such as Next.js or Remix.
- Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures, module federation, and WebSockets/streaming interfaces.
- Knowledge of web accessibility (WCAG 2.1) standards and enterprise-grade web security best practices (CORS, CSP, XSS prevention).
