A well-established CBSE-affiliated senior secondary school (Nursery to Class XII) in the Varanasi region, with a long-standing reputation for discipline, academic results and student welfare is looking for an experienced Principal.
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Principal to lead the school on campus. The Principal will be responsible for day-to-day academic and administrative leadership, reporting to the Director and Chairperson.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead academic planning, teacher supervision and regular classroom observation
- Drive Class X and XII board results and student outcomes
- Maintain student discipline, campus safety and transport oversight
- Manage teaching and non-teaching staff, including recruitment, appraisal and conduct
- Ensure full CBSE compliance and timely statutory reporting
- Engage with parents and the local community; support admissions growth
- Submit structured daily reporting to management
Who we are looking for
- Postgraduate degree with B.Ed (mandatory)
- Minimum 10 years’ teaching experience, including at least 5 years as Principal of a CBSE school
- Fluent in English and Hindi
- Strong presence on the floor — visible in classrooms and corridors, not confined to the office
- Firm, fair and disciplined, with the ability to hold staff accountable
- Comfortable with digital tools (Google Forms/Sheets, ERP, WhatsApp-based parent communication)
- Willing to relocate to and reside near the campus
