Job Summary
The Mobilization Officer is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the mobilization of Hearing Impaired Candidates, resources required for the productive implementation and execution of projects. Collaborate and form associations with Deaf Institutions, schools and Colleges for data and resource related to the project and facilitate for connecting with the project needs. Work closely with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, community, NGOs, local leaders and families to create awareness about Ashray Akruti projects.
- Conduct outreach and mobilization activities in communities, institutions, and through networks that support hearing-impaired individuals.
- Build trust and maintain relationships with NGOs, disability organizations, schools for the Deaf, community leaders, and families.
- Identify potential candidates and support them through the enrolment and admission process in the concerned project.
- Use inclusive communication techniques such as basic Indian Sign Language (ISL) or collaborate with interpreters to effectively communicate with hearing-impaired individuals.
- Organize orientation sessions, pre-assessments, and counselling for candidates and their guardians.
- Maintain accurate records of mobilized candidates and regularly update project databases.
- The Mobilization Officer will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and enrolling hearing-impaired candidates for a specialized skill development program.
- Should meet the potential employers and new employers for the placements and mentorships.
- Ensure to maintain the confidentiality of data and other project related documents.
- Able to bring industry eminent as a guest lecturers and motivational speakers to the Skill Development Training center to motivate the Hearing Impaired Candidates.
- Provide the inputs to the skill development team to prepare the resume as per the industry needs and demands.
- Support to the Project team to capture the case studies from alumina
- Coordinate with Project Manager/Project coordinator for the regular inputs.
Selection Criteria:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in skill development project execution.
- 1 year of experience in dealing with disability skill development projects.
