Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead with strong expertise in both frontend and backend development, with a primary focus on backend architecture and development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable applications, leading technical initiatives, mentoring developers, and driving best engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Lead the technical design and architecture of web applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Develop and maintain frontend components and user-facing features when required.
- Review code, enforce coding standards, and ensure overall code quality.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects and technical deliverables.
Required Skills
- Backend (Primary Focus)
- Strong experience with Node.js, Express.js, NestJS, Python, Django, Java Spring Boot, or similar backend frameworks
- Expertise in designing and developing REST APIs and Microservices
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Experience with authentication, authorization, and security best practices
- Understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
- Frontend
- Experience with React.js, Angular, or Vue.js
- Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services
Additional Skills
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Git and Agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of full-stack development experience with significant backend expertise.
- Prior experience leading projects, mentoring developers, or owning technical deliverables is preferred.
