Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and highly qualified PGT Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching higher-level mathematics, preparing students for academic excellence, and fostering a deep analytical understanding of the subject. The ideal candidate has excellent conceptual clarity, strong classroom management skills, and a track record of helping students achieve outstanding academic results.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in advanced Mathematics according to the prescribed school curriculum.
- Academic Preparation: Thoroughly prepare students for board examinations, internal assessments, and competitive exams.
- Student Assessment: Design comprehensive question papers, evaluate answer scripts, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Mentorship: Identify students' individual learning needs—providing remedial support to struggling students and enrichment activities for advanced learners.
- Collaboration: Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and professional development workshops, and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress.
Required Qualifications & SkillsNote: Candidates without a Post Graduate degree and a teaching certification will not be considered.
- Education: Master’s degree (M.Sc./M.A.) in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics from a recognized university.
- Certification: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or an equivalent teaching degree is mandatory.
- Experience: Proven experience as a PGT Mathematics teacher in a reputed school.
- Subject Expertise: Deep, flawless understanding of higher-level mathematics concepts, formulas, and theorem derivations.
- Communication: Fluency in English (both verbal and written) with strong interpersonal skills.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with digital teaching tools, smartboards, and modern educational technology.
