Role Overview
We are looking for passionate and detail-oriented SolidWorks Designer Interns to support the design and development of electric agricultural machinery. The intern will work closely with the product development team to create 3D models, engineering drawings, assemblies, and prototype designs while gaining practical experience in product design and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D part models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with GD&T and dimensions.
- Assist in the design and development of agricultural machinery and mechanical components.
- Support prototype development and design validation.
- Update CAD models based on engineering changes and testing feedback.
- Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and design documentation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Assist in reverse engineering and product improvement projects.
- Maintain organized CAD files and revision records.
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
Eligibility
- Pursuing or recently completed B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Automobile Engineering
- Production Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Industrial Design
- Final-year students and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, and Drawing modules).
- Basic understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of sheet metal, weldments, and surface modeling is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
