Key Responsibilities
1. Audit Execution & Fieldwork
Conduct periodic operational, financial, and process audits across plants (Daman, Roorkee, Palsana) and head office functions.
Evaluate internal financial controls (IFC), physical security of inventory, raw material standard consumption ratios, scrap generation, and yield variations.
Review procurement-to-pay (P2P), order-to-cash (O2C), record-to-report (R2R), and hire-to-retire processes for risk, compliance, and operational gaps.
Verify fixed assets (plant machinery, dies, molds) through physical verification and match against fixed asset registers.
2. Compliance & Governance
Monitor statutory compliances including GST, Income Tax, Companies Act (CARO/IFCoFR requirements), Customs, Duty Drawbacks, and environmental regulations (Pollution Control, Factory Act).
Verify adherence to internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) and corporate governance standards.
3. SAP / IT Systems Auditing
Perform data analytics using SAP ERP and analytical tools to detect anomalies, unauthorized transactions, or duplicate payments.
Review SOD (Segregation of Duties) matrix, user access controls, and transaction authorization limits within SAP.
4. Reporting & Stakeholder Management
Prepare concise internal audit draft reports highlighting risk impact, root causes, and corrective action plans (CAPA).
Present audit findings to functional leads, plant managers, and senior leadership.
Track implementation status of prior internal and external audit recommendations.
