We are looking for an experienced Jewellery CAD Designer / Matrix Designer with strong knowledge of diamond jewellery designing and production-ready CAD development.
The candidate should be able to understand jewellery concepts, references, sketches, and images and convert them into accurate, practical and manufacturing-ready 3D designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality jewellery designs using Matrix / MatrixGold / Jewel CAD
- Develop accurate production-ready CAD files
- Design diamond jewellery including:
- Rings
- Earrings
- Pendants
- Bracelets
- Bangles
- Necklaces
- Other fine jewellery products
- Develop new jewellery designs from references, sketches and concepts
- Maintain proper diamond sizes, setting requirements and metal structure
- Ensure designs are technically practical for manufacturing
- Make corrections and modifications based on production requirements
- Optimize designs for proper jewellery weight, strength and finishing
- Coordinate with design and production teams when required
- Maintain accuracy in measurements, stone placement and design proportions
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Jewellery CAD designing experience
- Strong experience with Matrix / MatrixGold / Jewel CAD
- Good understanding of diamond jewellery construction
- Strong knowledge of stone setting, diamond sizes and jewellery manufacturing
- Ability to create clean and accurate production-ready CAD models
- Good understanding of jewellery proportions, metal thickness and structural strength
- Ability to work independently on designs
- Good speed with strong attention to detail
