Job Summary
Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities at the site, ensuring work is completed as per drawings, quality standards, and timelines. The role requires coordination with contractors, workers, and engineers for smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities at the site
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications
- Monitor labor productivity and allocate tasks efficiently
- Maintain site discipline and safety standards
- Check quality of materials and workmanship
- Track project progress and report updates to management
Site Management
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Ensure timely availability of materials at site
- Maintain site records including attendance and work logs
- Monitor usage of materials and control wastage
- Handle basic measurements and site documentation
Quality and Safety
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and construction norms
- Implement safety procedures and guidelines on site
- Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly
- Report any delays, risks, or technical concerns
Coordination
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers
- Assist in site inspections and audits
- Ensure smooth communication between all stakeholders
Required Skills
- Knowledge of civil construction processes
- Ability to read basic drawings and plans
- Strong supervision and team handling skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering
- 1 to 5 years of experience in construction or real estate projects
- Experience in residential or commercial projects preferred
