About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Academic Counsellors to guide prospective students in selecting suitable courses and career paths. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with students and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students regarding available courses, certifications, and career opportunities.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable training programs.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and inquiries generated through various channels.
- Follow up with leads and maintain regular communication with prospective students.
- Assist students throughout the admission and enrollment process.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and update CRM systems regularly.
- Achieve monthly admission and counselling targets.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for enrolled students.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and counselling abilities.
- Basic technical knowledge or a technical educational background is preferred.
- Ability to persuade and influence prospective students.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is an advantage.
- Positive attitude, self-motivation, and willingness to learn.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in academic counselling, admissions, telesales, or customer service will be an added advantage.
