We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Fresher Design Engineer with basic knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD. The candidate will support the design team in creating 2D drawings, 3D models, machine components, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings for SPM (Special Purpose Machines) and automation projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create basic 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Assist senior design engineers in machine and component design.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings.
- Understand and apply basic mechanical design concepts.
- Support the design of SPM machines, jigs, fixtures, and automation systems.
- Modify drawings based on project requirements and design changes.
- Maintain design files, drawings, and technical documents properly.
- Coordinate with the production, assembly, and electrical teams.
- Learn company design standards and follow project timelines.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of SolidWorks.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
- Knowledge of mechanical components and engineering drawings.
- Basic understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn SPM machine design and automation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Eligibility
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with SolidWorks or AutoCAD training/projects are preferred.
- Candidates should be willing to work from the Chennai location.
