Job Description
Responsible for quality of proposals/bids going out from the organization.
Review the proposal document for scoping/ de-scoping, commercial viability, payment terms and other org standards.
Highlight the risks being identified during bid reviews to appropriate levels and ensure risk mitigation plans are discussed and agreed.
Be part of contracting team, prepare/review customer contracts, NDAs, staffing/teaming agreements etc. as needed.
Help/guide the sales team in contract negotiations; draft the responses to customer/partner review feedbacks from legal standpoint.
Ensure all the necessary approvals are in place as per the documented guidelines, highlight the contractual risks to appropriate levels.
Track the validity of contracts; ensure contract extensions on time.
Proactively take up automation initiatives related to bid/contract reviews to ensure better efficiency of the process.
Help improving the existing processes and practices in ensuring better turnaround time/quality for proposal/contract reviews/closures.
Should be willing to take up additional responsibilities related to other functions within the group as and when necessary.
Mandatory Skills
Should have an understanding of sales & project life cycles in IT industry.
Experience in preparation/reviews of bids/proposal documents, preferably for banking/BFSI sector in IT industry.
Should have an understanding of contract management process- At least 1-2 years of experience in preparation/review of contracts.
Should be well versed with various pricing models within IT industry.
Good communication skills.
Hands experience in MS office tools like word, excel & power point.
