Job Title: Farm Setup Coordinator & General Assistant
Location: Gopalpet Mandal, Wanaparthy District, Telangana
Job Type: Full-time, long-term
Work Style: On-site and local field coordination
About the Role
We are a family based in the United States preparing to establish a modern poultry farm in Gopalpet Mandal, Wanaparthy District. We are looking for a trustworthy, active and supportive person in India who can represent us locally and help us move the project forward step by step.
This is not a highly technical poultry-manager position at the beginning. It is a practical coordination role for someone who can visit the land, speak with workers and vendors, follow up on tasks, travel locally, collect information and provide us with clear updates every day.
The workload may be lighter during the early stage, but the responsibilities will gradually increase as the land is developed and the poultry farm is constructed. We are looking for someone who wants to stay with us for the long term and grow with the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit and regularly monitor the farm land.
- Coordinate land clearing, leveling, surveying, fencing and other site-development work.
- Help coordinate borewell, water testing, water storage, electricity, power connection and other utilities.
- Meet local workers, contractors, surveyors, suppliers, government offices and service providers when required.
- Collect quotations and information from multiple vendors.
- Follow up with vendors and workers until assigned activities are completed.
- Take clear photographs and videos of work completed at the site.
- Communicate with the owners in the United States through phone calls, WhatsApp and video calls.
- Provide regular, honest and patient updates about progress, delays, costs and local issues.
- Maintain a simple task list, quotation records, bills, receipts and site-visit updates.
- Coordinate local travel to offices, suppliers and project locations when required.
- Help with the future construction and establishment of the automated EC poultry farm.
- Gradually support farm operations, staff coordination and day-to-day administration after the farm is established.
- Obtain owner approval before confirming major work, making purchases or committing to vendors.
What We Are Looking For
- A valid driving licence and confidence in driving locally.
- Willingness to travel within Wanaparthy, Mahabubnagar, Hyderabad and nearby areas when required.
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully in Telugu.
- Basic English, Hindi and computer knowledge would be helpful but are not mandatory.
- Comfortable using a smartphone, WhatsApp, email, photographs, video calls and basic digital records.
- Honest, dependable, patient, alert and responsible.
- Able to work independently without requiring constant physical supervision.
- Good at speaking with workers, vendors and local officials and getting assigned work completed.
- Willing to ask questions and learn when something is unfamiliar.
- Able to provide accurate updates without hiding problems or delays.
- Previous experience coordinating construction, agriculture, land development or local vendors would be helpful.
- Basic knowledge or experience with poultry farms would be an advantage but is not required.
- Candidates living in or near Wanaparthy, Gopalpet or Mahabubnagar are preferred. Candidates willing to relocate may also apply.
Education and Experience
A specific college degree is not mandatory. Practical ability, honesty, communication, driving skills and the willingness to take responsibility are more important to us.
Candidates with experience as a project coordinator, site coordinator, field executive, administrative assistant, farm assistant, personal assistant or small-business supervisor may be suitable.
Verification
The selected candidate will be required to provide:
- Valid driving licence.
- Identity and address proof.
- Previous-employer or professional references.
- Consent for background and reference verification.
Compensation
Salary will be decided based on experience, availability, driving ability and ability to handle responsibilities. Local travel expenses for approved business activities will be reimbursed separately according to company policy.
