Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – Trainer
Job Overview
Emversity is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Trainer to train and mentor students pursuing careers in emergency medical services. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of emergency care and the ability to deliver engaging classroom and hands-on training sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training sessions on emergency medical care, procedures, and industry practices.
- Train students in Emergency Medical Technology, Basic Life Support (BLS), patient assessment, and emergency response procedures.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and skill-based training sessions.
- Develop lesson plans, presentations, assessments, and training materials.
- Demonstrate appropriate emergency care techniques, equipment handling, and safety procedures.
- Mentor students and support their academic and professional development.
- Evaluate student performance through practical assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure training is aligned with healthcare industry standards and curriculum requirements.
- Maintain a safe and structured environment during practical and skill-lab sessions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Emergency Medical Technology (EMT) or a related healthcare discipline.
- Relevant experience in emergency medical services, hospitals, ambulance services, clinical training, or healthcare education is preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of emergency care and patient handling.
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct classroom as well as practical/skill-based training.
Preferred Skills
- Practical experience in Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
- Good understanding of Basic Life Support (BLS), patient assessment, emergency response, first aid, and emergency procedures.
- Familiarity with emergency medical equipment and protocols.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing healthcare professionals.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
