Role: Code Mentor

HashHackCode is looking for a Part-time Code Mentor to teach coding online and support diverse learners through inclusive tech education. If you enjoy explaining programming in a simple, patient, and practical way, this role is for you.
Your roles and responsibilities:
- Online Mentoring: Teach coding concepts based on HashHackCode’s inclusive curriculum.
- Student Support: Help students with doubts, homework, class tasks, and projects.
- Programming Guidance: Mentor learners in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, or block-based coding based on the assigned program.
- Progress Updates: Share regular updates on student progress, challenges, and learning outcomes.
- Collaboration: Work with Special Educators and the internal team to support each learner’s needs.
- Inclusive Teaching: Adapt your teaching approach based on each student’s pace, strengths, and learning style.
What we require:
- Coding knowledge: Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is required. JavaScript, Python, or block-based coding is a plus.
- Patient communicator: Ability to explain concepts clearly and calmly.
- Passion for inclusion: A genuine interest in helping diverse learners grow with confidence.
- Reliable setup: Functional laptop and high-speed internet connection.
- Availability: Minimum commitment of 1 hour per day.
- Degree is not mandatory: We value skills, experience, attitude, and willingness to learn.

Hiring Process:
Stage 1: Assessment
Stage 2: Mock Class
Stage 3: Training
After successful completion of training, part-time payment will be based on completed classes per student. Students will be assigned based on performance, availability, and training readiness.
