Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of wood dryers/kilns.
- Monitor wood moisture levels and drying temperatures.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of timber in dryers.
- Maintain drying schedules according to production requirements.
- Inspect wood quality before and after drying.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams.
- Maintain records of dryer performance, fuel consumption, and output.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed in the drying area.
- Identify and troubleshoot operational problems in dryers.
- Train and guide dryer operators and helpers.
Requirements
- Diploma/ITI or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in wood drying, kiln operations, or timber industry preferred.
- Knowledge of moisture control and drying processes.
- Basic mechanical and maintenance knowledge.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under production targets.
Pay: ₹10,320.03 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Melattur, Kerala
