Job Title: Maintenance Helper
Job Summary:
A Maintenance Helper assists technicians and fitters in maintaining, repairing, and servicing machinery, equipment, and facilities. The role involves supporting routine maintenance tasks and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist maintenance staff in repairing and servicing machines and equipment
- Help in dismantling and assembling mechanical components
- Carry tools, materials, and spare parts as required
- Clean and lubricate machinery and parts
- Support preventive maintenance activities
- Maintain cleanliness of the workshop and work area
- Follow instructions from supervisors and technicians
- Handle basic tools and equipment safely
- Assist in loading/unloading materials
- Follow safety guidelines and use PPE
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of tools and mechanical work
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Physical strength and stamina
- Ability to work in a team
- Basic safety awareness
Education & Experience:
- 10th pass or equivalent
- ITI (Fitter/Helper) is an advantage
- 0–1 year experience (freshers can apply)
Work Environment:
- Factories, workshops, or industrial sites
- Exposure to dust, noise, grease, and machinery
- Requires use of safety gear like gloves, helmet, and safety shoes
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
