About AgroNest Ventures:
AgroNest Ventures Private Limited is a pioneer in deep-tech precision agriculture, leveraging AI, advanced telemetry IoT, and autonomous technology to build scalable field resilience. Today, AgroNest proudly operates the largest drone-spraying network in India, having already transformed farming operations across millions of acres. Join us in our mission to dismantle old infrastructure barriers and make precision agriculture affordable, accessible, and efficient at a planetary scale.
Role Overview:
As a DGCA Certified Agri-Drone Pilot, you will be the elite execution force on the ground, commanding advanced agricultural unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). You will manage day-to-day precision spraying operations, map local cluster territories, and champion high-tech crop protection directly inside farming communities. This role offers the unique opportunity to pilot top-tier autonomous technology while directly uplifting rural economies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Autonomous Flight Operations: Execute precise, safe, and efficient automated drone-spraying missions for crop protection, liquid fertilization, and nutrient delivery across diverse terrains.
- Pre & Post-Flight Protocols: Conduct comprehensive pre-flight safety checks, calibrate payload spraying systems, and strictly adhere to DGCA compliance and airspace regulations.
- Drone Fleet Maintenance: Perform routine field-level maintenance, troubleshoot hardware/software anomalies, and ensure all battery and payload infrastructure is perfectly charged and functional.
- Field Data Logging: Accurately log flight telemetry, tracking area covered, chemical formulations utilized, and farmer details via the AgroNest digital application ecosystem.
- Community Engagement: Coordinate with local Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), village leads, and cluster distributors to schedule high-efficiency group spraying drives.
Qualifications & Pilot Requirements:
- Certification: Must possess a valid Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) specifically for Small/Medium category drones.
- Education: Minimum 10th/12th standard pass or equivalent, with a clear understanding of basic mathematical and technical concepts.
- Experience: Prior experience operating agricultural spraying drones (e.g., 10L to 30L capacity models) is highly preferred, but fresh DGCA certificate holders eager to scale are welcome.
- Physical & Digital Mobility: High physical fitness for consistent field operations, a valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler driving license, and comfort using smartphone applications.
- Languages: Fluency in the regional language of your assigned operating cluster is critical for smooth communication with local farmers.
What We Offer:
- Competitive fixed monthly salary supplemented by highly rewarding per-acre spraying incentives.
- Full operational support, including specialized field kits, battery charging logistics, and transport allowances.
- Industry-leading medical insurance and on-field safety coverage.
- A definitive career track into Fleet Operations Management within India’s largest agri-drone ecosystem.
