Job Description: Special Educator Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Educator to support students with diverse learning needs, including learning disabilities, developmental delays, and other special educational needs (SEN). The ideal candidate will design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), work collaboratively with mainstream teachers, and ensure an inclusive learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify students with special educational needs through observation, screening, and assessment tools.
- Design, implement, and regularly review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, subject teachers, and counselors.
- Provide one-on-one or small-group remedial instruction tailored to each student's learning profile.
- Adapt curriculum, teaching methods, and assessment formats to meet the needs of students with learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, and other conditions.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement classroom accommodations and modifications.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, assessments, and intervention outcomes.
- Liaise with parents to discuss student progress, challenges, and strategies for support at home.
- Coordinate with external professionals (psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists) as needed for holistic student support.
- Conduct sensitization sessions/workshops for staff and students to promote awareness and inclusivity.
- Assist in exam accommodations and documentation as per board guidelines (e.g., scribe arrangements, extra time, alternate assessments).
- Stay updated with current practices, assistive technologies, and legal/regulatory requirements in special education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree along with a 2-year B.Ed. in Special Education, from an RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India)-approved program.
- Must hold a valid RCI-issued CRR (Central Rehabilitation Register) number.
- Prior experience working with children with special needs in a school or clinical setting is preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
