Senior Associate and/or Managing Partner
- Reviewing and understanding invention disclosures related to various technical domains.
- Conducting patentability searches.
- Determining the novel and inventive features of the invention-based vis-a-vis the known prior art.
- Drafting provisional and complete Applications for India/US filing.
- Analyzing patent application and the office action.
- Formalizing strategies (amending claims and/or formulating arguments) to respond to various objections/rejections raised in the office action.
- Drafting response to the office action (for US, EP and/or India jurisdiction).
- Strong analytical skills with good technical understanding.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent comprehension skills and ability to learn quickly.
- Sincere and responsible attitude and ability to complete work in a timely manner.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines with minimum supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within and with the team.
- Open to working in other related technological domains, if required.
Knowledge of Indian patent act and patent laws of US and EP
- B.E./B.Tech / M.Tech/M.Sc (Mechanical engineering, computer science, Electronics & Communications, artificial intelligence, or other related fields).
- Relevant experience of 3-7 years in drafting and prosecution.
