Job Title: Technical Support Engineer
Location: Ahmedabad (Willingness to relocate anywhere in Gujarat or outside Gujarat)
Educational Qualification:
- Must Have: Graduate / Diploma / BE in Engineering
Experience:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar technical support role
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot Desktop, Laptop, and Network Hardware/Software issues and Application-level calls.
- Provide comprehensive support on Networking, SCCM, Active Directory, File Sharing, and related IT
- systems.
- Handle troubleshooting on various Windows Operating Systems and commonly used business
- applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Support and maintain Network Switches, Access Points, and Passive Network Infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and maintain LaserJet Printers, Projectors, Motorized Screens, and Video
- Conferencing setups.
- Take ownership of incidents and ensure closure within defined SLAs.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal Microlink back-office teams for timely issue resolution.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Be flexible to work on Sundays / Public Holidays and extend working hours on weekdays if required.
- Be ready to relocate anywhere in Gujarat or outside Gujarat as per project needs.
Skills Required:
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Desktop, Laptop, and Network support.
- Deep understanding of Networking concepts and IT infrastructure.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with SCCM, Active Directory, File Sharing.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in plant environments.
- Two-wheeler mandatory for on-site support.
