Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Tester with 2–3 years of experience to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing, with a strong focus on developing and executing automated test cases.
The candidate should be comfortable working with automation frameworks, API testing, SQL/database validation, defect tracking, and Agile development methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web/mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
- Create and maintain automation test frameworks and test suites.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar tools.
- Perform database testing and SQL queries for data validation.
- Analyze requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute automated regression tests and analyze test results.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to identify and resolve issues.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
- Prepare test reports and communicate testing status, risks, and defects to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in Software Testing/QA.
- Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing.
- Good knowledge of programming/scripting language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Good knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Basic understanding of Git/GitHub/GitLab.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Important Requirement
Candidates with only Manual Testing experience will NOT be considered.
The candidate must have hands-on Automation Testing experience and should be able to independently create, execute, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test scripts.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
