We are seeking an experienced Senior Fabrication Supervisor / Fabrication Unit Head to oversee and manage the complete fabrication unit. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in metal fabrication, production planning, workforce management, quality control, and ensuring timely project execution while maintaining safety and operational efficiency.

Location- Ujjain, MP
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete operations of the metal fabrication unit.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily fabrication activities to meet production targets.
- Lead, train, and monitor supervisors, welders, fitters, fabricators, and other shop-floor personnel.
- Ensure fabrication work is completed as per engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time delivery of projects.
- Implement quality control procedures and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
- Coordinate with the design, production, procurement, and project teams for smooth workflow.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of fabrication equipment and machinery.
- Maintain workplace safety and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and SOPs.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and performance reports.
- Resolve production issues and implement continuous process improvements.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes, welding, cutting, and assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong production planning and scheduling abilities.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and safety standards.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and production reporting.
Qualification:
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in fabrication, welding, or production management will be an added advantage.
