- Consultation & Diagnosis: Evaluate patients with gastrointestinal symptoms—such as abdominal pain, bleeding, chronic diarrhea, or jaundice—to determine the cause of illness.
- Advanced Procedures: Perform endoscopic examinations, colonoscopies, and biopsies to inspect internal organs and collect tissue samples.
- Treatment Planning: Develop tailored treatment plans that may include medication prescriptions, lifestyle modifications, or surgery referrals.
- Disease Management: Care for complex, chronic conditions like Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), liver cirrhosis, and gastrointestinal cancers.
- Patient Education & Screening: Advise patients on gut health and conduct routine colorectal cancer screenings.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- MD / DNB
- 2 – 4 years of hands-on experience in a tertiary care or super-specialty hospital.
- Excellent diagnostic, patient care and communication skills.
