The Inventory & Logistics Executive is responsible for managing daily warehouse and stock operations, ensuring accurate inventory levels, supporting production through timely BOM issue, coordinating logistics activities, and handling local material procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory & Warehouse Management: Monitor, update, and maintain accurate stock levels. Conduct regular stock verification, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies. Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rapid scanning of devices/materials using inventory management tools. Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and storage areas.
- Production Support (BOM & Materials): Prepare and issue Bill of Materials (BOM) for production teams in a timely manner. Coordinate with production team to ensure materials are released on schedule. Track consumption and return of production materials.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage inward and outward shipments, including receiving, inspection, documentation, and dispatch. Liaise with transporters, couriers, and freight service providers to ensure on-time delivery. Prepare shipping documents such as delivery orders, packing lists, invoices, and tracking records.
- Local Purchasing: Source and purchase local materials based on production or operational needs. Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of purchased items. Maintain supplier records and oversee local procurement documentation.
- Expense & Documentation Handling: Record daily operational expenses (transport, purchases, warehouse consumables, etc.). Prepare and submit expense claims and reports for management review. Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
Requirements:
- Basic experience in inventory, storekeeping, or logistics (fresh candidates considered)
- Able to handle physical work like lifting small items or organizing shelves
- Familiar with basic Excel or simple inventory software/scanners
- Responsible, honest, and able to work independently in a small team
- Ability to manage urgent shipments and time-sensitive materials
