Skill Set:
- Sourcing & Purchasing: Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and negotiate pricing and delivery terms with suppliers.
- Quality Compliance: Ensure all purchased parts meet strict aerospace quality and airworthiness standards.
- Traceability: Track materials using compliance documents like Mill Test Certificates and Heat Numbers.
- Inventory Control: Track stock levels to prevent shortages and resolve issues with delayed or damaged shipments.
Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Aerospace Engineering is typical.
- Experience: 4to 5+ years of buying experience, ideally in manufacturing or aviation.
- Software: Strong skills in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (like SAP or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with government/industry regulations and import/export procedures.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Cost Savings: Keeping purchasing costs within budget limits.
- Delivery Time: Making sure materials arrive on time for production or maintenance.
- Supplier Quality: Evaluating vendors based on error rates and part reliability.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
