About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer (AODB) to join our airport technology team. This role is ideal for developers who are passionate about aviation technology, system integration, and building mission-critical applications for airport operations. You will develop, integrate, test, and support Airport Operational Database (AODB) solutions and related airport operational systems while collaborating with OEMs, software vendors, consultants, and airport authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications integrated with Airport Operational Database (AODB) systems.
- Design, build, and consume REST APIs and middleware services.
- Integrate AODB with airport operational systems such as FIDS, RMS, BHS, CUTE/CUPPS, and other third-party platforms.
- Develop responsive web applications using modern frontend frameworks.
- Build scalable backend services and database-driven applications.
- Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and database integrations.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
- Support FAT, SAT, UAT, deployment, and production commissioning activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, API documentation, interface specifications, and test cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, OEMs, airport stakeholders, and software vendors.
- Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and compliance with airport operational standards.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience with frontend technologies such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Java, .NET, Python, or Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, API integrations, and middleware.
- Good understanding of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Understanding of networking concepts and system integration.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and secure API development.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms is an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
Experience with any of the following airport systems is highly preferred:
- Airport Operational Database (AODB)
- Flight Information Display System (FIDS)
- Resource Management System (RMS)
- Baggage Handling System (BHS)
- Baggage Reconciliation System (BRS)
- CUTE/CUPPS
- SCADA/BMS Integration
- ICCC / Command & Control Systems
- Middleware and Enterprise System Integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Full Stack Development, System Integration, or Enterprise Application Development.
- Experience in airport systems or aviation technology is an added advantage.
