Area Sales Manager
Location: Hyderabad
Role Overview
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving regional sales of our advanced medical simulation solutions. This role requires proactive engagement with key stakeholders, including but not limited to physicians, nursing professionals, and institutional procurement teams. You will lead product presentations, manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, and ensure ongoing client support post-implementation. This demands a strategic sales mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and a solid understanding of healthcare procurement processes, particularly within government and institutional frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
● Promote and sell simulation products to hospitals, medical colleges, nursing institutions, etc.
● Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations.
● Manage leads from initiation to closure and post-salesupport.
● Incorporate our product specifications in tenders
● Handle government tenders and procurement procedures.
● Collaborate with regional/national sales teams and technical support.
● Report on market trends, sales progress, and client feedback.
Qualifications & Experience
● Education: BE-Biomedical/Medical Engineering/Bioengineering, B.Sc./ M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field.
● Experience: 2-4 years in medical equipment sales.
○ Knowledge of government procurement is mandatory.
○ Experience/knowledge in dealing with high value capital equipment (preferably medical devices)
Required Skills
● Goal-oriented with excellent communication skills
● Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
● Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel; CRM use is a plus.
● Ability to learn and explain technical/clinical concepts.
