We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to architect and develop the backend infrastructure.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Redis, WebSockets, WebRTC signaling, microservices, and cloud-native architecture capable of supporting millions of users.
Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Architecture
- Design and develop scalable backend architecture using NestJS (Node.js).
- Build RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs where applicable.
- Develop modular and maintainable microservices.
- Implement scalable event-driven architecture.
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and system reliability.
- Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code.
Authentication & User Management
- Develop secure user registration and login APIs.
- Implement JWT and OAuth authentication.
- Support OTP verification via SMS and Email.
- Manage user profiles, devices, and active sessions.
- Implement multi-device login support.
- Handle account recovery and password reset workflows.
Real-Time Chat System
- Develop scalable real-time messaging infrastructure.
- Implement WebSocket/Socket.IO communication.
- Handle one-to-one and group messaging.
- Implement message queues and delivery acknowledgements.
- Manage typing indicators and online presence.
- Implement read receipts and message synchronization.
- Support media sharing and file transfer.
- Build chat backup and restoration APIs.
End-to-End Encryption
- Integrate Signal Protocol (X3DH + Double Ratchet) for secure messaging.
- Manage secure key exchange and device key registration.
- Implement encrypted message storage where applicable.
- Ensure server cannot access message contents.
- Manage encryption key lifecycle.
Voice & Video Calling
- Build WebRTC signaling server.
- Manage call session creation and termination.
- Implement ICE candidate exchange.
- Configure STUN and TURN server integration.
- Handle one-to-one and group call signaling.
- Develop call history APIs.
- Monitor call quality metrics.
Blockchain & Wallet Services
- Develop blockchain wallet APIs.
- Integrate blockchain nodes and RPC services.
- Manage wallet creation and transactions.
- Implement token balance and transfer APIs.
- Build transaction history services.
- Develop smart contract interaction services.
- Integrate WalletConnect or custom wallet solutions.
Mining & Rewards Engine
- Develop mining reward calculation engine.
- Build referral reward system.
- Manage daily reward distribution.
- Implement task-based reward mechanisms.

Payment Integration
- Integrate payment gateways (Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, Crypto Payments).

Database Management
- Design scalable PostgreSQL database schema.
- Optimize SQL queries and indexing.
- Implement database migrations.

Caching & Performance
- Integrate Redis for caching.
- Manage session storage.
- Optimize API response times.

- Build notification management APIs.
- Integrate Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
- Integrate Apple Push Notification Service (APNs).

DevOps & Deployment
- Develop Dockerized applications.

- Integrate Prometheus and Grafana.
