Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated AutoCAD Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing accurate 2D/3D drawings, layouts, and technical documentation using AutoCAD. You will work closely with engineers, architects, project managers, and the execution team to ensure drawings meet project specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop technical drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, and sections as per project requirements.
- Modify and update existing drawings based on client or project team feedback.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams to understand design requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and industry specifications.
- Maintain drawing records and revisions systematically.
- Conduct quantity measurements and prepare basic documentation, if required.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality drafting standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
- Good understanding of engineering or architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of drafting standards, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Qualification
- Diploma / ITI / BE/B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Architecture, or a related field.
- AutoCAD certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 6 Months to 2 Years of relevant experience as an AutoCAD Designer/Drafter.
- Fresh practical knowledge of drafting and design documentation is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SketchUp, Revit, SolidWorks, or other CAD software is a plus.
- Basic understanding of project execution and construction/manufacturing drawings.
