DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF CONSULTANT ANAESTHETIST
The following will be the duties and responsibilities of Consultant Anaesthetist:
1. To practice medicine dedicated to Anesthesia, pain control and total care of the surgical patient before, during, and after surgery
2. Responsible for providing medical care to each patient undergoing surgery at all stages
3. Continuous assessment of the medical status of the patient, monitoring and controlling vital life functions, as well as managing pain
4. Determines when a patient can return home following an outpatient procedure and when a patient can be moved to another ward following a procedure that requires hospitalization
5. Involves in postoperative pain management, prescribing the appropriate pain-relieving medication and therapies
6. Makes immediate diagnoses for Critical Care and Trauma Medicine while supporting respiratory and cardiovascular functions, controlling infection, providing airway management, cardiac and pulmonary resuscitation, advanced life support, and pain control.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
