Primary Focus:
- Build and execute L&T’s enterprise Computer Vision strategy.
- Identify and scale use cases for construction progress, safety, QA/QC, industrial inspection, and autonomous robotics.
- Architect production-grade CV solutions spanning cameras, drones, robots, edge GPUs, cloud, and digital twins.
- Lead deployments across multiple sites and large numbers of camera feeds.
- Integrate CV systems with NVIDIA Omniverse / Isaac Sim and enterprise platforms.
Technical Expertise Expected:
- 2D/3D Computer Vision: detection, segmentation, tracking, 3D vision, SLAM, LiDAR + vision sensor fusion.
- Advanced AI: Vision Transformers, multimodal AI, VLMs, video analytics.
- Frameworks: PyTorch/TensorFlow, OpenCV.
- Edge AI: NVIDIA Jetson, TensorRT, ONNX, OpenVINO.
- MLOps/Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS, Azure ML, Kubeflow, MLflow, CI/CD.
- Data/Streaming: video pipelines, Kafka/Spark.
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Lead multidisciplinary CV/AI/robotics engineering teams.
- Translate research and emerging AI technologies into reliable industrial solutions.
- Partner with robotics, geospatial, digital-platform, and business teams.
- Communicate effectively with CXO-level stakeholders and establish ROI-driven AI programs.
- Build MLOps, governance, and model lifecycle practices.
Preferred Background:
- 10+ years in Computer Vision, AI, or Robotics.
- Enterprise-scale production deployments.
- Experience in construction, oil & gas, power, manufacturing, or infrastructure.
- Robotics/autonomous inspection and digital-twin/simulation experience.
