Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. The role involves defining architecture standards, ensuring high availability, driving performance optimization, and maintaining security and compliance while providing technical leadership and mentoring teams.
Key Responsibilities: Define and maintain infrastructure architecture standards, frameworks, and roadmaps. Design and implement solutions across servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud environments. Manage and optimize Windows and Linux operating systems and associated services. Oversee database platforms including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL for performance and security. Architect and implement hybrid and multi-cloud solutions. Deploy and manage virtualization platforms. Ensure compliance with IT security policies, data protection regulations, and industry standards. Design and implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies. Monitor, analyze, and optimize infrastructure performance and capacity. Collaborate with application, network, and security teams for integrated solutions. Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior engineers. Develop infrastructure documentation, architecture diagrams, and best practices.

Technical Skills (Must Have): Strong expertise in Windows and Linux system administration Experience with database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) Hands-on experience with cloud platforms – Amazon Web Services , Microsoft Azure (multi-cloud exposure preferred) Experience in virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture design and documentation Experience designing high availability and disaster recovery solutions Knowledge of security and compliance standards Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
Secondary Skills (Nice to Have): Experience with hybrid cloud and containerized environments Exposure to advanced monitoring and performance tuning tools Cross-domain knowledge (networking, storage, security, middleware)
Certifications: AWS / Azure Solutions Architect – Preferred VMware Certified Professional (VCP) – Preferred ITIL Foundation – Preferred Database certifications (Oracle DBA, Microsoft SQL) – Preferred
