Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Design Team Lead to manage interior
design projects while leading a team of designers. The ideal candidate should have strong
design expertise, project management capabilities, leadership skills, and quality control
experience. The candidate will be responsible for both individual project ownership and
overall team performance, ensuring high-quality design delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Project & Design Management
- Lead end-to-end residential interior design projects from client briefing to project
handover.
- Develop design concepts, space planning, mood boards, material selections, and
detailed drawings.
- Create and review layouts, 2D drawings, 3D renders, and presentation decks.
- Conduct client meetings, design discussions, and presentations.
- Ensure projects are completed within timelines, budgets, and company standards.
- Coordinate with execution teams, vendors, and site supervisors for seamless project
delivery.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure design intent and execution quality are
maintained.
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Interior Designers.
- Assign projects and tasks based on team members' strengths and workloads.
- Monitor team productivity, project progress, and delivery timelines.
- Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Train and develop junior and mid-level designers.
- Drive team performance and accountability to achieve business goals.
- Handle escalations and support team members in resolving project challenges.
Quality Control (QC) Responsibilities
- Review all design outputs before client presentations and project execution.
- Ensure drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project documentation are accurate.
- Maintain design consistency across all projects.
- Identify design errors and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to company design standards and SOPs.
- Conduct quality audits for ongoing and completed projects.
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with clients and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Understand client requirements and convert them into functional design solutions.
- Manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and Execution teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
- 4–5 years of Interior Design experience with Residential Interior Projects.
- Minimum 1 year of Team Lead experience.
