Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Academic Counselor to join our team in Cochin. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in student counseling, excellent communication skills, and the ability to guide students toward suitable career-oriented courses.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students regarding course options, career opportunities, and admission procedures.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to generate admissions and convert leads into enrollments.
- Follow up with inquiries and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
- Explain course details, fee structures, and career prospects effectively.
- Manage admission-related documentation and maintain accurate student records.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative departments to ensure smooth admission processes.
- Maintain daily reports of inquiries, follow-ups, admissions, and conversions.
- Achieve monthly admission and conversion targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Academic Counseling, Student Counseling, or Educational Sales.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in lead generation, lead conversion, telecalling, and follow-up activities.
- Good documentation and record-management skills.
- Basic knowledge of Logistics, Tekla, and Accounts-related courses will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/software tools is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and achieve admission targets.
